Looks like we have to wait until December for a ruling. Although it appears that since she has now been charged she will at least face the minimum sentence thus meaning she did not "get off".

The arraignment is now scheduled for Dec. 5 in Superior Court. Hilton is not required to appear.

The 25-year-old Hilton was arrested Sept. 7 after being stopped in her Mercedes-Benz SLR while, she has said, on a late-night hamburger run.

Hilton has no prior DUI arrests. If convicted, she could be sentenced to six months in jail and fined $1,000. The minimum penalty for a first-time offender is a fine, probation and alcohol-rehabilitation program.

Ok, i've updated tha payout to Dec. 5th, as she could still wriggle her way out of it...she's not convicted yet

I wonder if this is a legal tactic to put time between the arrest and the court date. Also they could say "look she hasn't gotten in trouble since then". So your right she could still wiggle out.

Paris Hilton had a pretrial on Jan 23, and her trial is scheduled to start no later than Feb 23.
I'm going to adjust the payout dates and reopen this one for betting until Feb 20.

Here silly head-shaving incident and bouncing in and out of rehab by some other useless tart have taken the recent gossip headlines.

I haven't heard anything about Hilton's pretrial, which was supposed to be Friday.

Paris Hilton has reached a plea agreement with prosecutors in her drunk-driving case, PEOPLE has learned.

Hilton entered a plea of no contest Monday to a lesser charge of reckless driving and was placed on 36 months probation. She must also pay a fine of $390 and attend an alcohol education program.

"I just spoke with Paris an hour ago, and she's happy the matter is behind her," Hilton's rep, Elliot Mintz, tells PEOPLE.

"We believe this was an appropriate resolution given the facts in this matter and both sides' desire to avoid a trial on the original charges," says Hilton's attorney, Howard Weitzman, who is also representing Nicole Richie in her pending DUI case.

Two weeks ago, the heiress pleaded not guilty to two misdemeanor counts of DUI and driving with a blood-alcohol level of .08 or higher.

Hilton, 25, was arrested Sept. 7 just after midnight for driving erratically in her silver Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren in Hollywood, according to the LAPD.

She scored a .08 on a Breathalyzer, the minimum blood-alcohol level to qualify as a DUI.

Following her release from jail, she called in to Ryan Seacrest's L.A. radio show, explaining on-air that she hadn't eaten anything all day and was on her way to a fast-food restaurant when she was pulled over.

We're gonna call this one a slap on the wrist.
And we're glad to put this matter behind us!

. Damn if I had an SLR McLeran, I think I'd keep in the garage waiting for a sober driver. (they only cost a little under a half million dollars)
