Remember the good old days in week one where the spreads were so small that you basically didn'th ave to pay attention to them?

These are much harder than last week. I really don't think I'm going to do that good.

Explanations, for some of the harder games/upsets so if I do good, people can make a thread about them again (or I could lose and look like an idiot).

It's always hard for me to pick games with huge point spreads, but I just gotta pick Baltimore to cover 11.5 points. A team that shut out their opponents versus a team that just got shut out. With McNair in there, I think we can cover.

I picked Buffalo after Miami because I was impressed with Buffalo last week and I'm pretty sure that Culpepper will continue to do his "early season interceptions" thing he does all the time.

Picked Carlolina over Minnesota. Carolina lost last year's opening game and bounced back. I still think Carolina will contend to win the NFC.

Giants over Philli. I was surprised that the Eages were favored. The division winner against the cellar team; seemed like a no brainer

Green Bay over New Orleans. Perfect opponent for Farve to bounce back on.

Picked Arizona over Seatle because I was discusted with Seatle's offense last game. Nothing like an early season win to give these young Cardinals some confidence to beat the NFC champion (or lose by less than a TD

)

Jets over Pats. Felt stupid for not picked the Jets last week. Also seems like New England never wins by more than 6 points, they're always within a field goal, like last week.

I...don't know why I picked Kansas City to stay in the point spread. I hate that goddamn team and they lost their quarterback. Call me crazy.

Washington over Dallas. Did anyone see how bad Bledsoe was on Sunday night? And now he's facing a much better defense...

I have to disagree with you on a few things JakeLandis:

Carolina Game: No Steve Smith no win (or cover)

Green Bay will be one of the worst teams this yr. The Saints looked pretty good last week, and will get win #2. (and cover)

Seattle game is a tough one, but I think agree with you on that one. 7 points is a lot in the NFL.

Jets, I like with the points. Pennington looked good last week.

Although 10 points is a whole lot to give up, I believe Denver (at home) can do it against the Chiefs. Key on L. J. and they will be done.

Even though St. Louis could not get a T.D. last week, I have to think they are a lock at -3 against the 49ers.

Detroit can not handle the Bears defense.

As far as the other games...

Cincy, Indy, San Diego, Atlanta,

(7-7 against the spread)

edit: Cincy just won me 400 more, and my Ravens are about to give me 1,200
edit: Giants just won the coin toss!
edit: New Orleans and Minnesota just lost me 200 each
