The NCAA needs to get rid of the BCS, for some sort of playoffs. I know you hear about it all the time, but it is the most retarded system ever.

Georgia would have been a great matchup vs. LSU. I might have actually been interested in watching that game...

Georgia, USC, Kansas, Missouri, WVU all have as much claim to the title of nation's best team as LSU. Although LSU was the first 2 loss team to play for the so-called championship, at least their two losses were both in triple overtime, and the SEC was definitely the best conference this year, with a 7-2 bowl record.

I'm so glad the college football season is over. I was losing a bundle, it sure was a crazy season. With Michigan going down to App. St all the way through with a 2 loss team playing and winning the National Championship.

Reminds me of when Colorado won the championship. they had a loss, a tie and 5 downs to beat Missouri.... err 4, I mean.

I have no problem with LSU, but I don't think a 2 loss team should be playing for the title. Sure you can say whoever should play so and so after the bowl games. I personally believe Ohio St. or (maybe even Hawaii ) vs. Oklahoma shoulda been the matchup. I think with with Kansas and Missouri, and of course Colo. , going through the Big 12 with one loss was more impressive than losing to Arkansas and Kentucky.

There should be a playoff though. Throw everyone into 8 super conferences, take only the conference winners and play it out. The only damn (team) sport that dosen't have a playoff to determine the championship.

Oh well, no more college f-ball, no more Steelers......

I don't understand this argument every time I hear it maybe somebody could explain it to me?

If a playoff was made, it would be 8 team, 7 game playoff system, right? That is 6 more games to contract to television networks, sell advertising rights to, etc etc....The potential is there to get a 6-fold revenue boost, I'd think....

There's more money to be made from the ridiculous amount of bowl games as compared to a 7 game playoff system. There's more than 7 bowl games every year, which means that they will keep the BCS system.
