Gram Accounting

We've decided that it would be better to not fully disclose all the ways to earn Grams. Suffice to say, however that Grams are earned by participation on many levels. It's also worth noting that it is much easier to lose Grams than to get them.

Gram Usage

The Marijuana Gram system is in place to provide an incentive for members to participate in the Marijuana.com Community. Gram rewards are given for nearly ever action you perform, even just logging in earns you grams.

These Grams measure a unit of 'money'. Think of one gram as one dollar. This is the formula we have used to integrate the various uses of Marijuana Grams.

Your grams can be used in a variety of ways in the Marijuana.com Community. We will be continuously expanding the Marijuana Grams system. At the time of this entry you can use your grams in the following ways.

1. Invest in the Stoner Stock Market
2. Gamble on various events with the 420 Bookie
3. Purchase Marijuana.com Premium Subscriptions ( Coming Soon )
4. Purchase gear from the PotShop ( Coming Soon )

I'm trying to figure out how this works. I have 15,000+ grams. When I used the button to award grams to a post, it told me that I had 254.8 available for this use. I awarded 200 to one post. A few days later, I tried again. This time I was told that I had 54.8 grams available. I awarded the total to another post. Now it tells me that I have 0.0 grams available. But I still have 15,000+ grams...

How does this work?

"Award grams" are different than your actual grams. different from "donating" How you get them (award grams)? No idea, I and others have asked with no respone. If you use the donate button, they will come out of your 15,000

Someone that hasn't awarded all of their grams should award some to Buzzby and see if that adds to his award gram total and not his regular grams?

They do add to the total grams of the user.. I awarded grams to a post, and that person was given the grams on top of their total grams.
My understanding is that anyone has a certain number of awarded grams that they can give to anyone for a post.. when you use them all, you earn more gradually, etc.
