Keeping high scores

I think we shouldb e able to get some grams for not only getting a high schore, but getting such a high score that it stays up for over a week or two or something like that.

That's not a bad idea, but before that's implemented, I think the scoring system on some of the games needs to be fixed.
There are a number of games where the lower score should be the best (Minesweeper and a drag racing game come to mind, both of which I've got the high score in, undeservedly), but the higher score or time nets you the record.

But I agree. If you set a score that's difficult to attain and are able to keep it for an extended period, that deserves props in some way.
Maybe some grams for each week the high score goes unbeaten?

And it shouldn't apply to all games. There are some games that have a perfect score. The first player to get that perfect score will have the high score indefinately. For those games, they'd get the high score retention bonus every week or whatever.

There are some games that have a maximum high score so the first to get it is the permanent holder. Like Hangaroo. It's mine all mine, mine, mine, mine, mine mine. You can't have it, it's MINE.

Unless of course there is some way to change the game settings.

And BTW, Why isn't this thread in the Arcade forum?

I agree completely. Perhaps a 2 or 3 gram reward per day for holding the high score. Just a thought

Yup, a couple of grams a day for high score would be cool, but I read on a different thread that they lowered the high score reward to 10 from 100 (Bummer) because of fraudulent activity. Does anyone knows what that means exactly?

I don't think there is a limit in the post. If I remember correctly, only the signature has a limit on the smilies. I could be wrong
