Well a buddy of mine and I decided to go on a little roadtrip yesterday. We rolled a few killer joints, brought some extra weed a pipe and hit the road. Here are the first few I grabbed off my camera. I took these right before finding a sheltered spot to hit my pipe and look at the view...I've got a few more good ones...I'll add them and the stories surrounding them when I get up tomarrow. Hope these look ok!

This is a good shot of the glacier, right at the terminus. It was a blast playing around in the glacial moraine...Another awesome thing was that the glacier made it's own noises (creaking and groaning) along with it's own wind.

There were signs not to get close to the ice, but we didn't heed them. There actually have been people killed by falling chunks of ice, but we were extra carefull not to put ourselves in any kind of danger.

The trip back to the glacier only took a very short ammount of time. I think the hike from the parking lot was only .7 miles. I of course brought along my small pipe and a bowl or two.

It was virtually impossible to get my bic to stay lit in the presence of the glacier, due to the high winds the thing was giving off. It was strange, the ambient air temp was in the 70's, but when the wind off the glacier came through you could just "feel" the ice cold-ness of the glacier in the wind. Crazy!

Yeah I've always wanted to hike around on a glacer/ snowboard on/near one. Smokin probably deff. made the trip that much more of a "trip."

it gives off its own wind?? i mustn't have been paying attention in school, but can you explain how that works?

Wind is created by movements of heated and cooled air. Hot air rises, cold air sinks...the glacier was so large that it was cooling the air around it, displacing the warmer air, creating wind...

Hehe I wouldn't have figured that out. I woulda just kept *****ing about how the lighter was being blown out. Not moving of couse, why should I move, im sheltered from the wind in a crevice of the glacier...

LOL yeah same, that makes sense though, i'll remmeber that next time i'm blazin in a glaciar i so want to do that hehe

This is some of the bud we took with us, one of the joints we made was out of this weed...We are going on a longer trip this week, with the same bud. I'll make sure to get lots of pics...
