I like chameleons actaully. They're very fascanating little creatures. I've heard that if you put them on a ficus tree and they will sit on a branch all day and you don't even have to cage them.

Also, be careful using the calcium powder. One of my old roomates studied herpetology and had tree frogs (the little green ones that stick to your window if you live in Florida) and she only used the jurrasical when they weren't eating properly. If she's a good eater, don't use much dust. Too much calcium can be toxic.

ok thx man, b/c ive been getting alot of mixed answers about how much calcium to give him... he eats about 7 crickets a day and i dust about half of them

the lizzard cost anywhere from $120-$200 for this species(Veiled)
i got a exoterra terrarium for abot $120 and its pretty big 45x45x60 tall. http://www.exo-terra.com/EN/products...rariums_i.html
Then you have to buy all the lights and plants. altogether it costs around $400-$500,
crickets are like $1 a dozen and he eats about 6-7 a day.. i also give him house flies too, loves it
