Really? i always thought hornets were bigger then wasps... I've seen a few hornets, and they are fuckin huge! well the ones i've seen. I hear stories about how if you get stung by one big enough it could put you in hospital. Plus the ones i've seen (well i think they must be hornets) make the loudest noise. urg, *shivers*

Thats a yellow jacket, which I believe is a type of wasp.

Hornets are HUGE. When you get bit by one, you usually get biut by a dozen or so. They swarm.

Amazing pictures though, I'm always amazed.

The picture i posted? or the thread starters? lol, just wanna make sure because im pretty sure the pic i posted is a hornet... I've never see em in swarms but meh, you don't get em that much down here... or i dont think so... lol...

I'm so afraid of bees.

I also hate the fuckers, and I kill them whenever possible. However, a dead bee lets off a chemical that makes the other bees swarm around it.
