i was walking along a river bank which had been underwater last week. and there were 25 or so dead crayfish with there heads eaten out. i think when the water recided they were on the higher ground with no way to the river and made them easy pray for birds and bugs...sorry if i gross you people out.







this last one you can see a bugs rear end inside the carcas..

Very interesting, we used to have these crazy birds that would nest by our house that would eat crayfish and underneith the nest would be these piles of shells and bird crap. It smelled horrible, I HATED those birds...
