These pictures are from my last race I attended which was in Adelanto, California. (Adelanto Grand Prix)

Heres a little info on the race.

- The Largest Off-Road Race in the United States (February 24th-25th)

The results wont come in for another 2-3 weeks. (But I did good I think, I made more passes than I got passed)

Been riding for about 5-7 years. I can't remember when I first started.

....you make that look so easy (I know it's not, I ride horses and people are always like "ohhhh I could do that, all you do is sit on a horse and kick it"), just like hmm.... yeah, I'm in mid-air.... and I need to adjust my helmet, so why not?! haha

Anyone that can pull a triple and adust their helmet deserves my praise, man. I'd be white knuckling the bars so hard, they'd bend!

Yea horse riding isn't all that easy, its pretty difficult. My grandmother owned a ranch in Chino Hills, California for years (just sold it not to long ago, but still our property right now) and I use to get free lessons from one of the trainers. She said I adapted quick and learned fast. I wasn't much into it though, but my little brother was, he enjoyed it and went out everyday to ride the horses.

I don't know the actual speed of how fast we go.
But in grand prix like this one, we hit straight aways hitting 5th gear pinned, my bike will get up 80mph maybe more. Some of the pros bikes can hit 100+mph.

Yea man, thats real tight. My bro in law rides dirtbikes, I like watching and shit, but I just dont ride. We have some tight trails in my state though. Nice hills/mountains to climb.

i ride motorcycles but never really have ridden a true dirtbike. it looks so much fun..
i have a 1971 honda ct 90.

ive taken it off road a few times. it will go anywhere.. but got it running again so hoping to go places this spring..

I know what you mean. I too have ridden for many years, and even owned a thoroughbred at one point. When I was a little younger, I took lessons and competed in some low level shows, I still have my ribbons!

Anyways, I always ran into the whole "its easy", coming from people who have never ridden. I bet a slow canter would be more then they could handle! Especially when one gets into more complex things, riding becomes much more difficult. The horse I spoke of earlier would refuse to do flying lead changes in the clockwise direction, no idea why. He would buck and put up a fight every time I tried, I took many a good digger.

Glad to know theres someone else on the boards who rides/has ridden. One of these days, I would love to take it up again, but right now, don't have the means.
