Thanks for the feedback guys, always appreciated.

I spent the better half of last week getting moved in at my new place, but have pretty much gotten things sorted out and have had some time to draw, although not as much as I'd hoped. Regardless, have managed to filter out a few decent things - all roughs at this point, but am starting to get a few character designs narrowed down. As I said earlier, I'll explain what these are about as I get further along..









I plan on churning out much more in the coming 2 weeks, stay tuned

Here's a few things from yesterday and today; would've liked to get more done today but I'm just too wiped, time to pass out.

Oh yea... the Hitler drawing is a joke-present for a jewish friend whos birthday is this week, i'm not a nazi or anything :P It'll be a lot funnier (and less Asian looking) when it's finished, I promise!

Argh, couldn't help myself... scanned it in, posted it, then went straight back to work on it. NOW it's time to pass out, will finish this off tommorow....

bah sleep didnt happen and now my hand hurts

really undecided on the final piece... the whole setup is pretty awkward (man and unicorn on separate planes.. didnt approach the drawing holistically), think i'll fuck with it some more tommorow but will probably end up scrapping it >< aw well, was fun

Alright, after viewing it with some fresh eyes I've decided to keep it; it's all a joke anyway so i'll let the technical details slide, overall I'm pretty happy with it and think he'll love it.

Made a few adjustments but overall pretty much the same. The back reads "Alan , never forget how close you came to never existing. Happy 20th!" Most all of our interaction together degrades into insulting each other repeatedly at some point or another, and he's always quick to pull the race card, so I assure you my message is more appropriate than it may seem Besides being jewish, he's also obsessed with unicorns, so that's where that comes from...


Will post other sketches from the day later tonight...

blah blah not much to see here, going through the loomis books brushing up and screwing around in the mean time. Most my recent progress has been on the collage, but think I'll hold off on scanning it until it's finished.

as with before, have been spending most my time on the collages, but have come up with some more character concepts; also spent some time working on some architecture thumbnails - I'm not in the class anymore, just felt like practicing, have only finished one. Not much, but I'm leaving town for a few days tomorrow and wanted to post what I had.

Blargh, getting closer (although still extremely far away) to completion, but am currently in the middle of getting copyright and trademark info lined out so I'm holding off on posting any "official" stuff. In the meantime, here's a fat guy and collage progress shot~
