Flower macro shots from April in Colorado. I hope you all like them!

P.S. Is there a spot for posting just bud shots? I'm a photography nut in all respects, and haven't found this yet if there is one.

The second pic, I think, is bluebells. I am not entirely sure, but I believe that is right.

I use a Pentax Optio X, 5MP with both a macro and a super-macro mode.

Maybe it's just that they're flowers (in addition to the fact that I know almost nothing about the technical aspects of photography), but I'd say you just about nailed the exposure on each of these; the colors look great, I love how flat looking the bottom pic is, it's borderline impressionistic, and the so called blue bells look good enough to eat! Keep 'em coming
