| Hello! I was looking for some leaf earrings that weren't made out of metal, and couldn't find anything. So I decided to try to make some with Sculpey, a polymer clay that you can fire in a home oven to harden. I've never actually worked with anything like this before, I have only seen people use it, so don't be too hard on it. Now, I realize that it doesn't have enough leaves, and that they should be thinner, but with clay it is hard to do those things. I really have no idea how I could get any more leaves onto an earring, though that is the one thing that is really bothering me. However, all I am really trying to get, at this point, is a leaf that is at least recognizable as a pot leaf. So, what do you guys think? Is it even somewhat recognizable? They are also going to be pretty small, so people won't really be able to see that the details may be a little screwy. Please don't be too hard on me, I've never done this before and am actually trying to be creative for once! |
