iPhoto & Photoshop here.

I'm pretty much clueless when it comes to photoshop though, TMG knows a lot more about that than me.

Picassa for basic touchups and browsing images (great ap and it's free!) http://picasa.google.com/

Photoshop CS3 for image editing or making joiners or whatever I need it for

http://www.irfanview.com/ for resizing the odd image, or cropping or converting it into something else. Also opens pretty much any image/sound file really fast (even .psd)

and http://www.multipleimageresizer.net/ for when i need to convert a batch of images.

At the moment, I use Corel Paint Shop Pro X for most work. It has a good compressor and one-step fixing. I have CS2 hanging around, just haven't had the time to learn the uses.

Originally I used Paint Shop Pro (I actually bought it back in the day), and it was sufficient for my needs. Then I used to use Photoshop up until version 7, because after that my computer couldn't handle it. So I just use GIMP now. It's really just as good for amateurs, and although it lacks in a lot of areas, it's free (open-source, no less!). I've also heard good things about Paint.net as well, though I haven't tried it.

I use macromedia Fireworks MX, Paint Shop pro 7 and now and again Photoshop 7. The majority of the time I use Fireworks. When making an animation like the one below I use Jasc animation shop.

I have a Panasonic FZ30 for my camera (along with other lenses, filters, flashes) and for editing I use CS2. Also use Neat Image for noise reduction on images.
