Ok, so as I related in another thread, I'm very much considering getting 1 or 2 tatoos sometime this summer. One will be a celtic knot on the back of my right shoulder, the other the asterisk logo for the Red Hot Chili Peppers on my left wrist.

The knot I expect I will get about the size of...maybe a little bigger than the diameter of the top of a soda can. This one will be primarily green, maybe black outlined or something.

The asterisk will be about the size of a quarter, and will be either straight red, straight black, or red with black outline.

My question is, I know pretty much nil about tats, not having any. Anyone have a rough estimate as to what these tats would cost each? As I doubt the artist will have a pre-designed for either of these, they'll both be custom, which i know is more expensive. And I'm aware it could be that it differs too much from artist to artist to say what it could cost...
But as I said, I don't know, so if anyone has a rough guess as to what they could cost, I'd like to know, just so I can get a ballpark. Thanks!
