The Chesapeake Bay

This is the best picture of the Chesapeake Bay that I have ever taken, and I have taken quite a few. Whenever we're on a bay ride (a blunt ride on a road that rides the shore) and I have a camera, I'll usually snap a shot and see how it turns out...

This was taken on a very cold day less than a week ago. It was the morning, early afternoon I think. To the left is Ego Ally, downtown Annapolis, and the naval Acadamy. To the right is the Bay Bridge, a four mile long span that gets you to Deleware really fast....

Yeeeah it's crazy man, the road has been around for about 3-4 generations now, and you'll hear stories of Bay Rides going back 50 years!

Awesome picture Jake! Thanks for sharing, feel free to post some more man, I have only been to the East Coast once (NYC) but it was awesome, would love to visit there again.

I love living by the coast, all you land locked fellas - time to get really jealous.

We should have a thread where people can post pictures of coasts around the nation/world (like Coast to Coast only stoner style)!

That's really awesome Jake, I've never seen the Bay before much less even been there. Cruising roads are the best.

Beautiful pic Jake. i have a brother who lives in Belair and when I go back to visit him we usually do a bay drive by at least once.

Yeah, or we could put together the top 20 cruise roads you have to see as you make a drive across the great nation....a tourist guide for stoners!

Here's a picture I took in the end of summer or early fall, not sure which. The date on it is definitely wrong. Different camera, although it is a better camera, I didn't give it the time to focus....something tells me someone was driving along at 5 MPH when I took it.

It's looking more directly at the Ego Ally area, the "Historic District"

The sky looks different on the east coast...

Perhaps thats just an early morning stoned observation but it' really honestly does, especially this new one @ sunset.
