I just wanted to thank everyone whoever wrote in with their proven remedies for beating the dreaded hair drug test. I had applied for over a year to this great company and never got anywhere with it.. I stayed drug free during this time because I knew that they drug tested before hiring. Needless to say, when I stopped expecting them to call and started smoking maryjane again, they called me..I am a black female with medium textured hair not fine and not thin. I had only three weeks clean time and starting four days before the dreaded test I used vinegar and VO5 shampoo the clarifying one and the equate astringent and tide. I did that twice on saturday and sunday. On monday I got a swimmer's rinse and used peroxide twice that night I dyed my hair and the next day I gave myself a perm(ouchie ouch!!) and right before I went to take the test that same morning, I rinsed once more with tide. Now this is a dot test so I also drank a lot of water and by the way in the week before I used the sauna twice thirty minutes each ( this was a great job ).After eight days I was called in a told that I passed.
