Greetings fellow 4:20'ers


I have a few questions


1) I'm gonna have to take a drug test here soon for a new job, but I'm not sure if its an urine or hair test. If its a urine test I feel about 95% confident I can pass as I have only smoked twice in the last month in a half (before I was smoking on a daily basis though) I figure I'll drink a ton of water before the test, pop a multi-vitamin to give my urine some color and drink some cranberry juice and I should be ok(?).

However if its a hair test I am somewhat concerned. I've read that hair tests can go back months and even years. However it seems to me that if your hair is on the shorter side, then the less they can go back. I've read that hair grows on average about a half an inch per month. So........

if I got my hair cut down to 1 inch in length, it seems to me that they would only beable to go back 2 months to test my mary-jane usage (1/2 inch hair (month 1)+ 1/2 inch hair (month 2)= 1 inch of hair. Is this assumption correct?


So basically my plan is this.......

1) use the Maccou method (also could someone post a link or the correct directions?)
2) then I bought a hair purifying shampoo + hair purifying gel at a smokeshop (called All Clear by Purity Inc)

shampoo ingredients= water, sodium laureth sulfate, sodium lauryl sulfate, cocamide, MEA, Cocamidoprophyl betaine, sodium choride, citric acid, methylchloroisothiazoliono, and methylisothiazolinoe

hair gel ingredients= water, propylene glycol, disodium EDTA, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl, Acrylacte Crosspolymer, Trienthanolamine, Potassium Sorbate, Methyparaben, Tocopheryl Acetate (Vitamin E Acetate), DMDM Hydantoin, Iodopropynyl, Butylcarbamate


Just curious to know if this plan sounds good?

5'5"- male- 195 lbs (yeah I'm a fatty --for some reason I always have the munchies) Light brown hair that is thin

You should read up on urine testing in the urine testing forum. With your plan you will probably get a negative dilute which is not passing. Piss test questions are off topic in this forum. Plenty of info in the Urine Testing section.

The test goes back approx. 90 days.

Your assumption is correct BUT cutting your head hair to 1 inch is pushing it in my opinion. They may accept the sample or they may not. With insufficient head hair, they may take the sample from your body hair. It is up to the collector. I would suggest you keep your head hair as close to 1.5 inches as possible. You plan on treating your head hair and that is where you want them to take the sample
The directions for the Macujo Method are in a sticky at the top of the page. I would recommend using Zydot the morning of the test instead of the All Clear. You might also want to read Jerry G's bleach/dye sticky at the top. Heavy smokers have had good results with his method but you must be willing to bleach and re-dye your hair as the title suggest.
