Hello! I posted before in the urine analysis thread, but here is my story. I just graduated college and have an awesome engineering job lined up to start in a few weeks with a defense contractor. I haven't smoked since mid December, and prior to that I smoked just about every day since August (so about 5 months). I have been 100% clean since then. So about 7.5 months by my test day. I am a 5'1 girl, 180lbs, size 14/16, slower metabolism definitely overweight if that matters for hair tests.

My test is done on premises the first day of work. I assume its a urine test and even though everyone tells me im fine for one, I may try to dilute slightly. In the off chance that it is a hair test what should I do? Do you think I'd pass most hair tests? Or should I do something just in case.

Also that method posted by MacCuj, has anyone with long straight hair tried it, does it ruin your hair? I'd be down for doing it as a precaution as long as it doesn't ruin me beautiful hair!! LOL

Thanks for any advice, I'm such a worrywart (and if any of you have had experiences with drug tests for defense contractors, send me a PM, im reluctant to post the actual company name on here just incase haha)

If you have been clean for 7.5 months you can pass any test, any time as long as you remain clean before the test.
