Ok here is the back ground....

I was a steady user....a few bowls every night for years and the occasional wake and bake. I stopped using 60 days ago now. I am 5'10", 285lbs, white and have med brown fine hair. I have had two hair cuts since I stopped smoking and my hair is just over 1" long. I have trimmed all my body hair short...using a #3 hair trimmer to make sure they take a sample from my head.

I started a new job last week and they did a urine test which I failed....stupid me didnt prepare as I thought 7 weeks clean would be good. I convinced my job that it must be a false positive from the medicine I take (naprosyn and alot of advil, tylenol ect...) They are now going to do a hair test, I have it pushed back to wednesday...

I have been using Aloe RID, but after reading here for the last two hours I know its not good, but I did buy Ultra Swim and will use that in the morning and do that a couple more times.

OK this is the plan....but pleae chime in and let me know what to do or not to do please.

#1 Tomorrow morning and then about 12 noon use the Ultra Swin which has the propylene glycol in it

#2 In the afternoon with the wifes help dye the hair OR relax it (which is better?? )

#3 That night do the Mac method ( can it be used with either the dye or relaxer? )

#4 Wednesday morning do the mac method again / ultra swim and then finally use Zydot

Does this sound like a good plan of attack?

Also they told me to contact my doctor about the meds I take, which is why the hair test not being done right now....I thought maybe tell them "he feels that a blood test is best due to the fact that the meds will be in the hair causing another false positive" and then offer to use their place, but I will pay for the blood work up as it is expensive? Does this sound good or not?

There are no false postitves anymore. The labs use GC/MS which narrows it down to one metabolite which is marijuana. You can do a search for more info one it.

If your hair is a little over 1 inch and you haven't smoked in 60 days you should pass. If the lab considers it a sufficient sample.

THC metabolites are stored in your fat cells. The height and weight you give shows you are overweight for you height by quite a bit.

The activity of your new job is probably releasing the metabolites into your system.

That you for the great response. But still is the treatment process I listed above a sound one or not? Also from what I read on here THC gets into the hair via the blood stream, and in chronic users like me it stays in the blood for a max of 72 hours (I think this is right). So as you said with me working out and ite been released into my system, is it going into my blood stream or just through my kindeys?

I just thought of something. The job had me call the place that did the test, when I called and spoke to the doctor, he asked what meds I take via prescription. After I told him he goes, you tested positive for marijuana. Now if they did do the GC/MS why would he even bother to ask about the meds? Trust me I am not doubting you at all as I have read about this, but I find it funny that he would ask this.

I don't know. Actually I don't know why your job had you call the doctor. If you take a drug test the MRO (medical review officer) usually calls you, you don't call them.

As far as "doctor" goes. If it was a doctor, you would be amazed how many doctors don't have a clue how drug testing works. Maybe it was just a dip stick test.

I already have the Zydot....was delivered this morning.


Tomorrow morning I plan to do a baking soda treatment for 20 minutes and then use the swimmers shampoo and then the Zydot.

Oh my hair feels like crap after the bleaching...not soft anymore. The lady said she was glad I didnt do the relaxer as I have very fine hair and would do terrible damage to it. And also more than one bleaching in a week period and most likley my hair could start to fall out according to her.

Because the MRO couldn't read the phone number or couldn't get ahold of the donor (not answering or phone disconnected). When that happens, the MRO will call the employer or TPA and ask that they have the donor call the MRO (Doctor).
Even with Marijuana, the protocol states the MRO cannot make a determination without first speaking with the donor. You got VERY lucky that the employer doesn't trust the MRO or you would be focked. You have a second chance now. I think you have used your time wisely.

So Sec, in your opinion....I know you said I used my time wisely and also you said my chances are pretty good....with everything that I did what would you say my precentage is?? Jerry said 80%, but that was before I cut my hair from 1 1/2" to around 3/4"...Oh Jerry if you see this I would like your imput too.

Concentrate on bleaching and redying. Read my thread above, Dingleberry's SO gives great addition detail to my original post.

Don't mix the Mac and my program.
