I did some googleage on prop glycol. Lots of members have stated that its a good chemical to have around. Apparently its some nasty stuff. Its able to penetrate skin. Its what they use in transdermal patches to transfer the drug through the skin. I also read that it can penetrate the hair cortex.

When I took my test, which I passed, I put a bunch of styling gel in my hair that had prop glycol as the second ingredient after water, which may or may not have had any bearing on the results. But hey it can't hurt.

Fructis's hair styling products have lottts of propylene glycol in them, as do lots of cheap shampoos, conditoners, and deodorant sticks.

Hope this helps in some way, or at least add a little more credibility to prop's reputation.

Instead of a new thread it figured I'd just put this here. Basically this text says that sunlight damages hair. We all know damage is good when ridding of toxins and chemicals.

Im interested also in this because I could have a hair test soon ( new job) and i shave my head so it probably will come from underarm hair. I hope this works cause ive been using a lot of deodorant lately. gillette

i've done some reading on this forum and haven't seen this product mentioned, but maximum strenth scalpicin appears to have a high quantity of pg. it treats deep scalp itch.
