went to take my first hair folical test today and i do have some questions i hope someone can help me out. first of all it was a [ psychemedics ] pre employment for a big time refinery. i knew that the test was only going back 90 days and i had time to clean up, i had 120 days clean at time of test. the test samples were taken from my arm pit. it is my understanding that the hair from the armpit doesnt grow as fast as the head hair. i did use nexxus aloe rid for 5 days prior to test. do i have anything to worry about? anything would be very helpful.

I'm by no means an authority, but your clean time should pretty well have you in the good. I'm certain 1Toke, Jerry, and the others will be better able to advise you, but I'd be feeling positive if I were you

Regarding the Aloe Rid, there seems to be a fair bit of conjecture as to the actual benefit of this product. Nevertheless, I think 120 days clean should set ya right.

Just like Nuttysack I am no expert but I have been dealing with this hair test issue myself. The only thing I can warn you about the Aloe Rid is that when people had success with it they were using the old version which can still be found on E-bay. If it does not have Propylene Glycol it wont do shit. Either way the effectiveness of shampoos is still debatable. If you want to beat the test you have to take a very proactive approach to this. Read this whole forum. Their is allot of info that is very usefull. Check out Jerry G's posts on the matter.

thanks for the reply's nuttysack and dr. yall did give me a better piece of mind about this. the aloe rid i used was a generic brand but it does have propylene glycol in it. again thanks for your input and yes i agree the war on pot should stop.
