I have a hair test next week, although there are a few small issues.

I haven't smoked in 35-36 days, 40 by test time, I am a heavy exerciser and I drink over a gallon of water daily, I am sort of a health freak, I take 25+ vitamins and mineral supplements daily. I am passing home urine screens with no problem.

I started shaving my head this summer, with like a 2 blade, the company that interviewed me saw that I shave my head. I am also into bodybuilding and I am not hairy by nature, I have no pit hair, arms & legs are trimmed very short. No pubes either.....

I have shaved my head twice since I last smoked, I am wondering will they be able to take a hair sample? If they can't get a sample will the co. allow me to do a blood/urine? I have also read that that the hair shaft grows out in 10-14 days

Also....should I do a bleach then dye with the short hair I have??

What do any experts recommend??

It will depend on the company, they may fail you for not submitting a sample...

They really want to hire me, if I ask for a urine/blood I am hoping they will grant it.

Do you just shave your head, because thats how you like your hair/scalp? Or did you do it so the company wont get their sample?

I think you should just go ahead and take your hair test, dont shave your head anymore. If your passing home tests (I've never heard of a home hair test before), then you will pass the actual thing.

If you just shave your head because thats how you like it, but you let your hair grow so they can get their sample, even though they know you like your head shaved, you will look like a good, willing worker in their eyes. Also, it may encourage them not to test you because you were so compliant with this test.
