alright sorry if i ramble on with unnecessary details but i want to know if anyone has passed although they were as unprepared as me.

i used to be an everyday smoker but i quit 2 months ago with the exception of 3 times where i took a small hit. these times were scattered apart by at least 2 weeks.

on saturday i had an interview but i was cocky about it because i have probably had 6-8 interviews this month and none of them have drug tested me. the day before i was pretty happy and felt i deserved to smoke a little bit because my car just got fixed and i was home alone, so i took a hit from the bong, but i have a habit of spitting and drinking alot of soda/juice when i smoke. after that i drank a 20 oz bottle of water, a capri sun, and then ate some crackers and a BIG meal of steak, baked potato, corn, artichoke, a beer and a couple of glasses of soda. i brushed my teeth that night before bed and when i woke up.

the day of the interview i went in and the guy was really cool, and he asked me "hey you will be able to pass a drug test right?" so of course i say "yeah man sure thing" and think he will send me to quest to take a piss test, i was prepared for that. but then he gave me the cheek swab and i didn't think about taking it off my cheek until afterwards, so i scraped my cheek a little and held it there and moved it a couple of times. at first i was worried it would be like a hair test, but after researching i realized i would have definitely been safe if i just didnt smoke the day before.

one of the things i am concerned about is that i did not use listerine, mints, or any excess brushing of the cheeks. most of the people here that have passed have used several techniques to mask it. i know in general you shouldnt smoke 48-72 hours before, but it is possible to pass if you havent smoked in 8-12 hours, but that is pretty risky.

i think i will be ok, but waiting sucks! give me your opinion and i will let you guys know if i get the job. i have other interviews lined up so its no biggy but if my gf finds out i failed a drug test she will be pissed haha!

Like you say, it is a wait and see situation. I can't give you an all clear, I also can't say that you will fail. No one can.

thanks. i understand there are too many factors, so i understand trashing my thread. i will just see what happens and learn from my mistakes!

i didnt really want a prediction though, just results from people that had no opportunity to use altoids or listerine in a similar time frame.
