|  Advice Jerry G and anyone else? Okay...this hair test crap is new to me....So bear w/ me. First, on the day of the test, it will be 100 days since my last smoke....Aug 2nd last day. Smoking history...all day every day of killer bud!...Treatments thus far...one perm, dye, bleach and dye. Ion shampoo every other day in addition to a mix of aloe body stuff(high propylene glycol) aloe rid shampoo and what ever else... Oct 3 passed Home confirm. Oct. 13 failed psychme...home test. My questions are: - Doesnt the amount of thc in 1.5 inches depend on how fast your hair grows? I have dark hair just below my shoulders...I am a girl! And a crew cut will not work... - What should I do for treatments? Have people failed after being clean for 90 days with no treatments? Because their hair grows less than 1/2 inch a month... I assume so. - I have read about darker hair being a problem...so when I redye should I become a bodacious blonde  Any help would be appreciated...  |

| Clear this up for me, you passed a Homeconfirm, but failed a PDT90? |

| Yes Jerry G...I passed the home confirm and failed the PDT.... before I took the home confirm, I did a perm...Oct 3. |

| Is this odd? It seems like most people pass homeconirm while failing PDT...The problem is who knows which lab this employer uses...However if I fail, I will be sent to a board for a hearing and possibly loose my livleyhood which is why I am soooo concerned....If anyone can please advise me on what they think...or experience? Thank you! |

| You are the only person I know of that has done both. There seems to be a question regarding cut off levels. At this time I am only endorsing local lab testing as those cut off levels are the same as a "real" test.... |

| I know..I am anal...however... Would you, if you were me, do more hair treatments? My concern is that, I have no idea if my hair grows exactly 1/2 inch a month. And I also am not sure which lab they are using...so I am tryinng to get clear for the hardest one just in case...What do you mean by local? My Drs office? |

|  please help! Okay, so no advice....Here is what I am thinking, and maybe some input will be nice.... Oct 31 bleach n dye....bleach whole head, then rebleach root area...then dye Wash out with swimmers shampoo, use ion treatment Nov 2 Send in sample to PDT ...If still positive, try relaxer I attempted one bleach that turned hair flourescent orange then girll at beauty store said I had the wrong thing recommended to me...the stuff I used was for highlights. I have read all the way through 2007 to present, my concern is because one test came back negative and one positive after that...I have also read of people(not many) who did in fact test positive after the 90 days... I have fairly thick, long dark hair of meditterainian descent and this concerns me also. This site has been a lifesaver, and thank those in advance for input..especially Jerry, since you do seem to have the most experience. |
