I'm divorcing my loser husband and he has thrreatened to use my mj use against me to take my 3 kids away. I was a moderate user on & off for years, quite 2 monthsa ago and then two weeks ago started smoking again, about 2 joints over the course of the last two weeks lat smoke being monday. My lawyer says that hair tests can show usage that goes back 1 year is the correct? because everythign i have read only says 90 days. Anyway I want to prepare and am going to do the Jerry G method of bleach & redye. I also want to to do some tests to see where i stand. Which ones are the best? I will nmost likely have to test sometime within the next two months. If I do the Jerry G method now will my hair be clean for the test (not smoking any more) in two months or do I need to do it again right before the test? PLease any advice and input is welcome. I am freaking out about this. Thanks Also I have dark brown hair very fine but lots of it and a decent metabolism.

Delay the test as long as you possibly can.

Your lawyer is dead wrong. The test will detect use for the last approximately 90 days. One and a half inches of hair growth if your hair is that long. That is it.

Do what you need to do to pass. Jerry's method is good - not foolproof, but good none-the-less.

If I were you, I would bleach and re-dye once per week until the test. If the test is in 6 weeks, then you will have had 6 bleach processes and given your hair a week between each of them for some heavy conditioning (hot oil treatments and deep conditioners).

Ok. Since my last smoke was monday. Should I wait until later next week to start with the bleach redye since the thc takes 7-10 days to show up in the hair? Also should I be rinsing the bleach out with the toxin wash?

So what brands of home test are good? Also would perming be an option inplace of the bleach and redye? Should I do this every week unitl I test? Thanks so much

ok. trying to settle.. I have spent hours pouring over these threads. So far my plan is this: I'm going to get appointment for bleach/redye maybe tomorrow but most definitely next week. (not to sure I can sucessfully tackle that on my own) have ordered the toxin wash but don't think it will be here in time use with the 1st bleach/redye. I guess i will keep on doing that for the next few weeks. is 4 times enough? I'm thinking i might not have any hair left after this whole thing is over, but I don't really care about that. i guess interspersed between dye jobs I will use baking soda paste as oftern as popossible. Also am looking into the zydot now to use when testing time gets closer. Dos that sound like a good plan? Is there anythign else I can do?
