Okay..so in all my research, I would like to clarify a few rumors as well as pose questions hoping someone...may have the answers
1- home confirm cutoff level .1 pg/1ml hair
2-psymed cutoff .1 ng/10ml hair a pico is 1000 nanograms, therefor psymed is higher cutoff
SOOOO the difference must lay in the actual process...RIA vs EIA
3- the Aloe Rid I bought has propylene glycol as second ingredient, is this the right one?
4- What does propylene glycol do? I know it is used as a type of liquifier..to make things slippery.
5- Does THC continue to be slowly released from fat cells into the hair, at a minimal but consistent rate? If so for how long? And perhaps more importantly how long before the test should one do their final treatment? OR put another way,can you be negative one week, not do anything and be positive the next? Due to new hair growth?
6- What magically happens after 90 days? Does the hair, which in merk studies grows on average .4 inches a month (.4x 3 monthe = 1.2 inches) not 1.5 inches, supposedly "grow out"? Or does the THC over months time get washed, dryed, processed to such a minimal level it cannot be detected? Hence processing via dying, perming, relaxing speed up this process?
I have read so many articles that are conflicting and my head is spinning...some say it stays in your hair and is consistently released for years from fat to blood to hair while others say hair does not pick up a significant amount.
7- Finally, I keep reading on here that you can smoke up to 3 times in a 90 day period before you come up positive, however I cannot find this information anywhere, does anyone know where that came from?
Reason for my mass confusion? I took one home test, negative. Another brand 10 days later, positive. Trust me, my number one priority is passing this dang test, and number two is finding out how all this works which will be key in everyone passing!
