Hey all!

I had started a thread a month or two ago about the dreaded hair test from Psychmedics. I had approx 7 days from the time I found out, and I was stoned when I got the news about it....

Based on my research - hair grows approx .5mm every 30 days or something small like that (I may be wrong on the days), either way my point is: They do NOT shave the hair off your head. They cut it, meaning they are not even able to see if you're high right then.... the test actually begins about 10days prior and then looks at the previous 120 days or whatever. So I figured, fuck it - I'm not gonna stop smoking and see if this shit 'really works'....

Bottom line... I just found out today that I PASSED. Fucking passed!

Here's what I did on a daily basis - this entire process is EXACTLY what I did. I kept a spreadsheet just in case it worked I could pass it on. As I had very little time I spent most of it researching and ordered pretty much all products with overnight shipping. I bought 2 products online - Toxin Wash and a Hair Mudd kit which came with its own shampoo (Pass Hair Test) for the day of the test. Both companies were very responsive and I had my items the next morning.

One little tip: Buy those little ear protectors at the beauty store!!!!


Daily Routine(approx 7 days worth of this - I only did the process once per day, usually beginning when I finished up at work)
1 - Put on a shower cap, hit the bong. NOTE: I kept the shower cap on ANYTIME I was going to smoke. I did not want any resin or smoke getting into my hair.
2 - Wet hair with warm water (open pores) and apply baking soda paste. I used a shitload of it and glopped it everywhere. Leave in for 30mins
3 - Wash out baking soda with warm water. Apply Tide liquid detergent. Leave in for 30mins
4 - Wash out tide and apply Toxin Wash. Leave in for 30mins.
5 - Wash out TW and apply yellow shampoo from mud kit. Leave in for 30mins.
6 - Wash out yellow shampoo and do a final wash with TW and just rinse it out.

Each day my hair progressively got worse. Dry, course, a mess....

On day 2 I got a hair cut - 1.5 maximum length all over.
I then bleached the hair with powder bleach and Vol 40 developer. I left the bleach in as long as I could (about 45mins) rinsed...waited for a couple hours and then dyed the hair...leaving the dye in as long as possible (about 30mins).

The pain was almost unbearable. Just warning you up front. It's no fucking picnic. Bottom line - Take another deep hit off that bong, take off your skirt and end the fucking tea party....

Another thing I found - The color of my hair from the dye would look good the first day...but with each day's treatments of baking soda, toxin wash, etc - it got progressively lighter. I say this as I would probably go darker than you think you'll need....

Day 6 (yes, 2 days before the test)
I bleached the hair again, leaving it in as long as possible. Rinsed. Waited. Dyed it again leaving in as long as possible.

I don't think I will ever be closer to true P.O.W. torture during wartimes. It was again, excruciatingly the most painful experience I think I've gone through. Breaking bones was easier due to the adrenaline. With this, it's pacing back and forth, checking the clock over and over and over and just telling yourself you have no choice but to do this...

Anyway - do it. I'm a sissy girl when it comes to pain, and if I can pull it off - SO CAN YOU!

Day of the test Routine
1 - Put on shower cap. Hit bong. Hit bong again just for nerves.
2 - Baking Soda/Tide/Toxin Wash (same as daily process before)
3 - Apply the hair mud according to directions (WARNING: THIS SHIT BURNS. Oh yes, burns like someone lit your head on fire). There were 3 different things to apply to your hair. Each was a clear liquid that would just be massaged in the scalp. Of course, while it was burning to tears....
4 - After the mud treatment apply Toxin Wash one more time and put on shower cap
5 - Pack 2 gallon jugs of water in the car and leave for the hair test.
6 - Approx 1/2 to the testing facility, I pulled over and rinsed my hair. I then rolled down all the windows and let it air dry to the testing facility.

My hair was like strawman when I got there.... however, they clipped away from all over the head, not really saying much.

That's it kids! ....fuckin' worked!
