So here's my situation. I'm applying for the police dept. On my birthday Sept 16 I had a momentary lapse of judgement and decided I wanted to try MJ for the first time. I smoked half of a $20 bag. I barely felt high and I don't even think I was doing it right but whatever. As it turns out I have a hair drug test Dec 4.

What are the chances that this use will show up?
If it does show up, what are the consequences?
Would hair growth formulas help in any way?

Any advice would be appreciated. It would suck if this one time thing f*cks up my chances.

First off, if your going into law enforcement, you probably shouldnt be doing what you were doing. Second, if you dont/cant figure out how to smoke correctly, im not sure if you should be allowed to carry a gun. The consequences will be that you just wont get a job, and probably wont for a while. Either way, best of luck to ya buddy.

I tried it once out of curiosity. and I don't see what smoking has to do with shooting a gun.

Your judgement calls. Thats what is has to do with it. I realize that you dont smoke, even on an often basis, but anything that will impair your judgement could throw you off, and you could make a not so good decision.

I hope you find your answer your looking for. I see somebody posted on the hair tests and a few ways around it.

In my opinion, your curiousity is cutting it a little close when your applying for a job in law enforcement. Especially when you KNOW there is NO tolerencey for it.

need. i wish you the best in your new career. there are some tips here how to clean your hair for the test in the sticky. read up. september, oct, nov, dec, should be plenty of time. i dont wanna give to much advice, cause im not as familiar with hair tests. as for peeps online who scorn you, don't listen to em.. some people just got something to say. good luck. i think 3-4 mo is a good enough timespan.

JerryG I've looked through the site and I see that 3 times in 90 days but does that depend on the amount smoked? I just need advice, not criticism.
