Hello everyone. I am relatively new to this site and have been reading all the post regarding the detection of THC through hair testing. I feel like I have a pretty good idea about whether I would be caught, but I am not 100% sure which is probably the case for most people. I would appreciate input from any of you regarding my situation.

Okay... the last time I smoked was November 7th. I shared two bowls of chronic with my friend through a vaporizer kit. I also took a couple of drags off of a roach of chronic soon after that same night. The day before that I had shared a bowl of some shwag from a bong with my friend that previous night (Nov 6th). Probably more than 90 days before this experience, I ate a muffin that knocked me on my ass and I shared a bowl of chronic with like 5 people. Considering all of this, I would categorize myself as a very light smoker.

Okay... now I have been interviewing with several different financial services firms in the past few months. I anticipate being offered a job in the next few weeks. So if I do get hair tested, it will likely be 5-6 weeks after my last weed escapades. Considering that I didn't smoke all that much, do I need to do any prep? Also, since I am a black man who is 6'3, 200lbs, low body fat, and has a quick metabolism, do I have anything to worry about? For the record, I have very short hair (think 50 cent or Chris Brown). I also have very little body hair as it is. I shave my pubes like every month and I have pretty short arm and leg hair, no chest/back hair. Should I shave my pits today? If I don't have enough hair, would it force the drug testers to go for a blood or urine test? Also, would I even need to worry about a test at all considering the last financial servicer didn't even drug test me at all?

Lol, sorry for the long winded questions... I'm just kind of freaking out and I'm tired of reading all these posts. I would appreciate some input.

If your usage history is correct, I would think you would be fine.

From what you have provided for information it appears you would have about ~ 8 weeks clean time (or more) since you endulged and I believe that you would not have any issue, however, as you know were all different.

I'm not sure you intend to go through with a bleach/redye, zydot or anything else but it might be a good idea to cover your @ss and have the security at least. Plus the home test would be beneficial.... it's hairconfirmdotcom and it will give you a great indication to where you stand and the turn around time is quick, plus they post the results online for you. Basically it boils down to how badly we want the position because I was in a similar situation with 30 days clean and passed, but we differ with body, amount smoked etc... i took the home test as a base line and also did the bleach/redye when It was probably not even needed, but I really wanted this position so I would rather do too much than not enough.

Something else to consider is the vitamin B (biotin) that helps hair growth, nail growth etc... I started taking this right away after reading about it on the threads and it can be purchased at the local GNC and probably wal mart. I believe it works because i took this stuff and my hair grew 1/2" in 2 weeks when typically it grows 1/2" in 1 month. But maybe it wasn't the vitamin and it is just me? I don't know but I did whatever it took to pass.

Overall I believe you wold be okay based on what you gave, but I would still go through with something on the head hair and body hair. Good luck and let us know. Post the results on the "results thread".

I think going to a local lab is better than the hair confirm...
