| Anyone have experience with smoking through the nose in order to circumvent saliva tests? It would, of course, be very important to ensure that any exhalation occurs through the nose as well as that ones does not cough. I have ensured this by holding a swig of water in my mouth while smoking. If you are picturing this right now, it is probably pretty ridiculous, and I am wondering how effective it actually is. In theory, it makes sense, as the sticky mucus and rows of cilia continuously conveying it downward from the nose to the stomach are designed to catch airborne particulates and move them to the stomach for neutralization. Given that THC does not pass from the blood into saliva, this appears to be an effective method by which to bypass the mouth when smoking altogether. What I am curious about is how much of an impact things like imperfect implementation, coughing up phlegm, etc. might have. I haven't ever pushed it closer than 40-some hours prior to a test with this method and have always passed, but with this window I could quite possibly have passed anyway had I smoked in a normal manner. I would like to know if anyone else has pushed it significantly and realized positive results. Thoughts? Last edited by MarcK : 11-15-2008 at 04:46 PM. |
