Hey everyone, new here as I just got a job offer that will require a hair test shortly. I would like to thank everyone for their methods. Here is my program ...

Background: Male, strawberry blonde hair, 6'0 tall, 170 lbs, 24 yrs old. Used to smoke every day but have slowed down the past three years. From November of 07 to June of 08 I did not smoke anything. Then I smoked occasionally from June 08 till July of 08. Smoked about a half o between August of 08 and Oct of 08. I have not smoked since Oct. 15th of 2008.

Flash forward to today, looking for a better job and will have to take a hair test soon. Possibly right after the Thanksgiving holiday. Yesterday I started cleansing my hair. I do not know if this helps, but I have been using LA Looks hair gel (Propelyne Glycol is an ingrediant, although not at top of list) since August while at work, is in my hair approximately 9 hours a day.


Day 1: Baking Soda for 40 minutes, Ion Swimmers for 20 minutes

Day 2: Just finished bleaching my hair for about 45 minutes, currently have Baking Soda in my hair and will keep for a total of about 25 minutes. Afterwards I will use Ion Swimmers for about 20 minutes and then redye.

I will continue with same program for a total bleach - redye of 3 times. In addition, I have ordered Toxin wash and a zydot kit. Plan on utilizing zydot the morning of test and toxin wash in addition to ion swimmers once it arrives next week.

I have read about Paul Mitchell 3 and some other shampoos, should I utilize these in addition to the Ion Swimmers and Toxin wash? Also, is strawberry blonde hair too dark for the macujo method or is it worth a try? I do not want to utilize the vinegar if it will definitely close the cuticle when the idea is to open it. I have shaved all my body hair down to a 3, not sure of the exact measurement but it is enough to have hair everywhere but not enough to test. I plan on cutting my scalp hair to 3/4" to 1" right before test and doing final bleach and redye afterwards.

Open to criticism and additional things for my program. Please let me know if I am on the right path.
