I have been reading my butt off and you seem to have some good info,,,,

ok here is MY shitty deal....

got a job offer that is a mind blower,,,, more $$ than I have ever made,, I am a educated person who has had crap luck with good paying work till now///

ok med user and fairly heavy smoker now I am starting the three bleach and dye system using TW and zydot...

here is where it gets shitty,, I will have to get a hair test in the next 5-7 days stopped smoking only two days back (as soon as I found they did hair) I have all the tools for a clean PISS test but NO.....

I am a fairly hairy person and normally keep my hair short. my longest cut is about .75 inch.... this IS HOW I normally keep it,,, (retired USMC)

I am guessing that will NOT be enough to give a sample although I will be treating my head and my pits...

I really can not see trying to bleach and dye my body SOOO here is my idea...

I was planning to treat my head and pits,,, and then shave and nair the rest of my body,, well upper both sides and legs.. just leave my arm hairs.

will that cause a problem at the test? I mean if my "wife" likes me mostly clean.. what can they say?? or am I wrong.

I am going with the idea that IF they want to take short patches off my head ok.. and IF they do not like that then my pits are FULL (and clean or will be) of hair. and that should make us all happy, right?

ok I hope I can do three treatments and have hair left. my head is tender now I hate to think what two more bleaching will do.... BUT i will for the job!!!


OK BOTTOM LINE is this do-able and any suggestions

what are the odds they will want to use my arm hair? do I have any say in where they can go or cannot go.. like pubs or beard? is any area or alteration of appearance not allowed??'



I have NEVER had this done and no one I know has had it done ..

If you want them to take your body hair, you must keep your head hair less than 1/2 inch long.

The arm hair would be my next choice as a collector. If not enough arm hair, I would look to the legs, then the chest or back and finally the arm pit. I only take beard hair if it is a last resort and it wouldn't alter the appearance of the donor (you).

There is never a circumstance where pubic hair is a candidate. It isn't allowed, and is not an option on the collection form. Any collector who chooses pubic hair is not a good collector and isn't following protocol. Don't allow your pubic hair to be used.

Some opt for arm pit hair in the same category as arm hair. I go for the less disgusting first. Head hair is preferred, but if it isn't available, I try to go where it is easiest to obtain. Rooting around in someone's pits isn't my idea of "easy".

HELP!!! MAYDAY MAYDAY…….. JERRY G or ANYONE!!!!!!!

Ok here is the new update on my issues,,,

I was working on the second bleach job and it was all I could do to let it go 15-17 min, got most of the color out. Only when it came to do the dye,,, OH SHIT<,, I have a good pain tolerance but that was too much. I had to wash it out before it was fully applied. My head is fried; there are some areas with open spots with little blood.

I also just found out once I turn in my application for a SBI I have 24 hours to submit myself for testing… OH SHIT,,, this all but rules out a third bleach and dye job.

This is so bad I have taken to putting a bunch of ALOVERA (real plants not a store item so I am guessing it should not affect the detoxing) on my scalp and areas on both on my pits. OH YA complication #2,,, got two areas very red and damaged from the bleach and scrubbing.

OK I THINK I can delay the test until Thursday at best without too much problem.

SO I need some options and ideas PLEASE PLEASE…

I have plenty of toxic wash and a couple zydot kits. I stopped the process tonight after only doing one TW scrub. I was thinking of doing the second TW in the morning, that way I will get the second wash done at a minimum.

Now here is where I need the advice of some hair dressers,,, SEC did I see your lady is a hair dresser?? Will I be able to get a hairdresser to even look at my hair IF my scalp is damaged?

I am guessing I am screwed as to getting in the third bleach/dye. I am also guessing If I show up for a hair test with a FRIED HEAD they will screw me over, YA?? Not to mention what about irritation spots near/on my pits. How many red flags am I about to rise?

SO I am thinking to try and leave it bleached, I do not work now so for a day or so it will be ok. Then maybe Tuesday I will go to a professional to get my color fixed, and stop there as far as bleach/dye.

Now I think I can stand a few more TW scrubs and a zydot or two.

I am looking for any better ideas and advice. I really need this job; thoughts and ideas are welcome from all.

Ok SO I am guessing that they will be able to use my head??? I am possibly at 1 inch in top length by now. (will they / would you take a chunk off my top for a sample?) I have a fairly military style cut, tapered in back ETC. But you say the SECOND option is ARM hair, OH BOY,,, ok what is the process if I show up with NO body hair just pits and head.? What obligations do you/they have to report oddities in a subject? Such as skin damage and hair alterations?

You have no idea how this is messing my head up literally and mentally. Your info and advice is SOO welcome. Please help me get past this…..

If I were me, I would note the damaged skin and shaved arms, legs, etc., on the collection form.

I would be forced to take the hair from the head (several small snips form different areas so it doesn't show), but I would note on the form that you have open sores on your scalp. I would also look for signs of recent treatments to the hair (such as bleaching, dye, etc., and if found, I would report it on the form.

sorry, but that is my job. Let it heal. You have done what you can, now it is time to let your skin heal.

Ok lets try this again… sorry for the brevity of my questions…

I have not shaved anything yet.. Would it be better not to as it looks like they should take hair from my head? I do not want to risk trying to wash all my body and trust it to be clean.

What are the fallouts for having notes showing scalp damage and coloring,, IF my damage is fairly healed to the point where I may not have noticed it (ha ha) will that look worse, NOT to note it?

Is it at all reasonable to have screwed up an anti-gray campaign for a new job and the holidays?

So what normally happens if they note the damage and I pass the test? I know I had more questions but oh well, gone now..

Ok update time… I think I have discovered an interesting or possibly new treatment to add to the list.

I bleached my head last night and burned it. I have been applying aloe vera (right of the plant no additives, dig) ok so this AM I covered my head in aloe gel and covered it with a shower cap. I wanted to keep my head moist and protect my pillows etc,,,

Ok so here’s where it gets good… after a couple applications of gel and a few hours I took the cap off so my wife could look at the damage and got ready to do the fourth TW shampoo. I pulled the cap off to find what looked like dye coming off in the cap.

I did a shampoo and noticed what looked like color washing out. After I was done my hair was most definitely lighter and more even colored. It would appear the aloe was pulling out toxins or at least the dyes. SOO I will look further at this and thought I would post this so I maybe others can look into this.

My thoughts are, like the soda and other treatments the aloe maybe helping to clean my hair. Which may be a nice way to help clean and heal ones head during this ordeal.
