Hey everyone I have an upcoming hair test that I am worried about. I am an african-american male, and I've gone through the site but everyone from my race has either failed or didn't post thier results. I read a couple of the females posts and I noticed that they never cut their hair which I think could have been a large factor to them not passing. Currently I am about 53 days clean, I used to be a heavy smoker up until last spring and then i cut back to smoking maybe 3 or 4 times a week usually on the weekends.When january 2009 came around I mostly smoked about the same some weeks 1 or 2 times and sometimes none. anyway the last time i smoked was feb 21, and i have been clean since im 23 5'6 130 pounds, super fast metabolism, I wasn't given an date to test they just told me that I should do it as soon as I possibly can its been about a week since they told me that I was planning on going in next week so I will have a full 60 days, but my hair is short, think like dwayne wade or lebron's hair. any suggestions that anyone has for me. I know Ive had a long period of time of not smoking just nervous because of other peoples results plus of what they say about dark coarse hair. any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

a full 60 days is good. maybe cut your hair to an inch long?

Please try to be specific on how many times you smoked from mid jan to now.

from jan to feb 14 i smoked about twice a week the last time i smoked was feb 21st but i only smoked a blunt and only got about 6 hits from it, it was some mids so nothin really high quality at time but the previous times it was off and sometimes high quality sometimes mids

You did not answer my question, when I say specifc, I mean it.

It appears that you need some treatments. If I were you I would relax my hair at least once, and maybe twice.

I hear that hair relaxers are highly alkaline? this attribute is helpful for opening up the hair before the propylene glycol gets in and flushes everything out.

I guess from mid January to mid February about 14-16 times

I think i will will relax my hair and also use a hair treatment i don't have an exact date to take my test but i don't want them to be suspicious and I have 60 days clean so far so I will take it sometime next week after I do the treatment
