| So... I recently had a diluted urine analysis on a random. Of course I had to go retest and take another urine analysis and a hair sample. I was able to use Omni hair wash about thirty minutes prior to the hair sample and substitute for the UA. Here are my facts : Mid 20's 185lbs Light brown but thick stranded hair maybe 3/4 inch long. Last cut 1 week ago. Medium build, work out 3x or more per week run 10 miles per week. Steam room then bathe after every workout session. Followed Omni steps as best as possible. Haven't smoked in 10 days today, last smoked 1 joint of crap stuff, but 12 days ago was around good stuff smoked 2 grams. Before that I hadn't smoked in 2 weeks, but prior to that every day crap stuff. Used Omni hair cleanse 30 minutes prior. Did not have a chance to do anything else to hair prior as this was unexpected. I need to know what % you think I have of passing, as I still have time to resign to keep from having future employers know I failed a UA. |

The new employer must have your authorization for this, and cannot hire you if you don't sign the authorization from. On second thought, this is not a DOT test because DOT doesn't allow hair testing. Look on your urine form and see if it says "Federal" (DOT) or "Forensics" (Non-DOT). | |

| Hey Sec. Thanks for the response. I realized after I wrote it I had made some errors / omissions... I used Zydot not Omni, I had read a bit and wrote the wrong one down. The test is done through the USDTL, not Psychemedic or whatever. The test is a 5 panel Hairstat or whatever. So what does everyone think my chances are? Not asking for legal advice, but here are some other facts - - The HR lady and the lady from the testing location were both present as I "diluted" my first sample, and encouraged me to drink more water for almost 2 straight hours so that they could get on with their day. - I am 90% sure the HR lady disclosed that I had a diluted sample and had to be taken for a hair / UA to other persons in the company prior to my returning from the test, which would be a breach of confidentiality right? - No MRO ever contacted me prior to my second test series. Do they have to legally or is that just a company policy usually? - I know my UA is straight, so if i fail for minute amounts of THC in the hair do I have any leg to stand on stating that I was in Amsterdam in coffee shops, etc. 2 weeks ago? - Are they required to give me a copy of the results if I fail? I was thinking if it does happen, worst case scenario, I could contact a Wrongful Termination lawyer just to see if I had a case. Thanks again for your reply and in advance for answers! btw, the reason resigning could help or could have helped is I could have avoided the test or can avoid the results, which would mean resigning instead of termination. |

| Ok so as of yet no one will add anything, so I assume everyone understands that I will probably fail and doesn't want to give me false hope or additional worries, knowing that I will fail. So here are my options, which no one will comment on anything yet, so please let me know what you think - If I resign I lose about 10 grand, but I can keep the contacts at work for future contacts. My job is a very high level job right now where contacts would be good for immediate use. If I don't resign, I either get the 10+ grand or lose my job via termination. If I lose it via termination, that's it I lose my job and can possibly use my contacts from overseas where it is legal to report that I was an excellent worker, but not my in-states contacts, who have said that if I do resign they can still give me a very positive recommendation. So if anyone could give me the percentages that they think I would greatly appreciate it. I figure my percentages of passing right now are less than 25%. |

| Well second thanks for the advice on not resigning. I did indeed not resign and I am not 100% sure yet, but according to the lab my company has the results and they haven't said anything, except for a casual "everything looks good" in passing. I will post my results in the results thread after today is over when I am sure. |

| Not knowing is the worst f'ing feeling...well, no, when you hear they are having randoms that day and you don't have synthetic on you is pretty bad too lol. Hope you pass! Wish I could offer some advice or something but no can do...figured you might like a reply though. Quote:

| I passed all tests! Thanks for the replies guys it was a terrible week and a half of waiting and it is finally over! Remover - Sorry to post in the other thread about the Amsterdam thing but I was completely inebriated when I posted that, but for real man there seems to be no crackdown, I know they have said they were going to but outside of Van Gogh's museum I don't think there is too much else to draw people to Amsterdam : ) Thanks again guys |
