Hey everyone,

Just had another question regarding hair testing. A few days ago I took two-three hits off a friends joint. I rarely ever smoke, but there is a possibility I will be taking a hair test sometime in June. I have long curly hair which I do get colored and highlighted. I have no intentions of smoking, but is my detection period equal to that of someone who smokes daily? I bought the Aloe rid and started using it to be on the safe side..

Any help is appreciated.

So you will have at least 60 days of clean hair before you test. I seriously doubt the hair test would pick up a few hits from a joint. If you very rarely smoke, I doubt your body would have much THC byproducts and very little of that would get into your hair - THC supposedly does not bind well to hair in the first place.

If they only test the first 1 1/2 inches of your hair, you should be fine I think. I would continue washing regularly with aloe rid and bleach and dye the hair back to your original color. There are scientific studies showing that bleaching and decolorant treatments effect drug concentrations in hair.

There are people who have passed the hair test and had smoked within 50-60 days of their test, so I would think you'd be ok.

If you remember, please post your results after your test. Good luck but I think you should be fine from what I've heard of people in similiar situations as yours.

i agree with aki. and i assume that you will be taking an Psychemedics hair test, well they do a time frame up to 90 days, so you will be good. and the test most likely cant pick up a couple hits if you hardly ever smoke. good luck.
