I've read through the majority of the sticky posts and have researched several of the methods used to pass a hair test. To be honest, I'm not very keen of the idea of bleaching and dying my hair over and over. I'm currently unemployed and I'm fairly certain I could land a job at a decent company where they utilize hair follicle testing. I'd rather pass the test by being clean, but I also want to be on the safe side. Therein lies my question.

I've been clean for 52 days. The only drug I've done is marijuana. The month prior to quitting I smoked above average nuggets two to three times daily. Prior to that month, for roughly six months, I smoked the above average nuggets once a day. I normally smoked from a pipe and packed approximately 0.25 grams per pipe (not very much, five or six hits).

I'm Italian and I have hair covering my entire body, more or less. Because of this, I keep my hair quite short. I shave my chest and buzz my armpits regularly. I also have very short hair on my head. Usually never longer than 1/2" and as short as 1/8" when I trim it. I've been maintaining my hair like this since my teenage years and I'm in my late 20's now. I'm 5'10" and I weigh 180lbs. I drink lots of water and I'm fairly certain I would have passed a urine test 30 days or so after quitting smoking (I dropped down to about 160lbs around the time I quit and lost a lot of fat).

Now for some questions:

What happens if I get the job and I don't have any hair longer than 1/2" on my head, armpits or chest? Can they take samples from my forearms and legs? Or do they just take more hair from the head and armpits to obtain the required amount for the test?

Am I correct in assuming that if I could pass a urine test at this very moment, any new hair that grow is also clean (because my blood is obviously also clean and that is where hair picks the toxins up from)?

Should I shave my arms and legs, wait a few weeks for new hair to grow and then pursue the job? My hair should be totally clean, right? Or is it overkill to shave my arms and legs?

Any other advice or suggestions are very welcome. If you need any additional information, don't hesitate to ask.
