my situation...i smoked 1 joint 3 wks ago and before that 3 joints at the end of january...so four times in the last 90 days... found out i have a hair test upcoming...about 2 weeks ago i started using the nexxus aloe rid shampoo and aloe rid cleanser...i rinse with vinegar before applying the shampoo...i also dyed my armpit hair with hydrogen peroxide, very strong stuff (burnt my skin under my armpit) my plan is to treat and focus only on my armpits...i shaved my head last week, about 2 weeks after last smoke, so that any hair that grows back will be weed free, but probably too short to test (although i still dont know when the test will be, my guess is 2 wks from now)...and all other hair on my body will be shaved very tightly before my test anyways i ordered psychemedics home hair test...i took the hair from my armpits, five days later go the results back=NEGATIVE for all drugs...the armpit hair was about 1.5-2 inches long (i know gross) not sure what worked, my guess is the low amount smoked...but who knows

Bg18 - what was the concentration of the hydrogen peroxide you used? I've heard this works (refer to post: http://cheaptalk.marijuana.com/420/s...ad.php?t=28305 ) but I'm curious about the effects of hydrogen peroxide (in high concetrations) on hair and skin. Aki posted a link to a paper in that thread where they used hydrogen peroxide (30% dilution) to cleanse hair, which reduced the toxins by like 50%, also the vinegar/clean&clear/tide method could be validated if it actually does work...since tide contains a goodly amount of H2O2.

I definately think this could be a plausible solution to our problems... Could you provide the brand name? I'd like to find out the ingredients (ie. the percentage of hydrogen peroxide).

hydrogen peroxide and ammonia are the key/active ingredients in the standard permanent hair dyes. Make sure that the hair dye you get contains these ingredients. These hair dyes should come in two different bottles (one with the hydrogen peroxide and another which has the ammonia) and mixed together right before you apply it to your hair. The hair becomes porous after permanent hair dye is applied. The hair structure that comes into contact with the hair dye is altered forever. Shampoo it as much as you can at that point. I've seen studies that show hair dye is not good for you, but the study was comparing tissue of animals that had over 40 hair treatments to animals that had 40 or less treatments. One or two hair treatments shouldn't be much of a health concern I would hope.
