| Where exactly do the THC metabolites hang out? Do they actually become part of the cortex, or do they just kinda "stick" to the cortex, and hide under the cuticle? I was thinking that the MacCujo method could probably be revised to be more effective, since heavy smokers don't always pass with that alone... Plus not everyone is keen on dying and bleaching their hair 5 or 6 times. AFIK, acids close up the cuticle and bases open them up. So, whats the point of putting two different acids of pretty much the same strength in the hair and then washing them out with a base? I believe the pH level of laundry detergent is around 10 or so, bleach somewhere around 12 ish. Wouldn't it make more sense to do a pre wash with baking soda (weak base, but enough to open up the cuticle).... After doing a baking soda paste treatment to my hair for 20 minutes my hair became reallllllllly soft...... I wonder if that makes it easier for the vinegar or salicylic acid to penetrate deeper into the hair and destroy some THC metabs??? I also read that cheap shampoos like pert are pretty basic and will open up the cuticle quite well... Its also known fade dyed hair pretty well too. My theory is that washing your hair with Coal Tar shampoo a few times to get all the external residue off your hair, then a baking soda paste treatment to open up the cuticle, followed by a regular MAC treatment, followed by rinsing your hair out with regular clorox bleach would be even more effective. I don't know, I've just had a few drinks and got a bug up my butt about this whole hair analysis bullshit and it got me thinking. Anyway, if theres anyone whos more knowledgable than me about this it be cool to shed some light on this because the MAC doesn't always work. Hair analysis has become more sensitive to THC in the past couple years and I think the MAC method should probably be revised as well. |
