I'm a chick, been smoking heavily & daily for 11 years (29 now), dark brown hair about 1 inch past my shoulders, and had 4 days to prepare. I passed this test - I didn't think I had a chance in hell, seriously; but the job I needed to pass for was worth doing anything. The technician at the lab cut at least 3 inches from the base of my skull (he didn't need that much, but was just an ass) but did not take the roots of the strands. Below, is what I did & bought - I also stopped smoking immediately:

Monday - bought Nexuss Aloe Rid shampoo (at Long's & Rite $10.99 & 2 jugs of distilled vingar ($1.99 each)
I washed my hair with TIDE detergant first (I read that on another post), followed by the Aloe Rid. I let both set in my hair for 30 minutes each.

Tuesday - Morning I did the exact same process as night before, only first soaked my hair in vinegar for 15 minutes. The Afterburner hair toxin remover arrived (I had ordered thing after reading about it here and rushed shipped it for a total of $191). That night I cut 2 inches off my hair and bought another shampoo Paul Mithcell Three One it was $5.99 and was for toxin removal from inside the hair shaft. I went home and did the same exact shampooing process as before but added the new shampoo right after the vinegar soak, and follwed the Aloe Rid with the 1st bottle of Afterburner Hair Prep (good for 4 shampoos).

Wednesday - Morning I did the entire thing again - it was at least 2 hrs but worth it. Same thing that night.

Thursday - Day of the Test!!- did the same process as every other time - but included the Afterburner Nitro Boost and used the entire bottle of Toxin Remover per instructions.

My test didn't happen today - which had me freaking out. I ran out to my headshop and both Test Clean toxin shampoo ($30) just to be super safe. The next day I used the vinegar to soak my hair with for 15 minutes, then used both Test Clean packages.

I passed, I'm not sure if it was just 1 thing, or all things combined, but I passed. :-)

Now lets hope they don't do random drug screenings..

i cant believe the shampoo worked...must of been the aloe rid.....
