I found out that I was to have a hair test about a month ago. It's been about 50 days since the last time I smoked a joint. That was the first time I smoked in over six months. I'm pretty active and curious if I have any chance of passing.

If you only smoked once in the last six months, and that was 50 days ago, you should be fine. Supposedly the hair test is best at detecting regular usage over the time period in which the hair grew. I don't think there could possibly be enough THC metabolites in your hair from one joint in the last 6 months to fail the test.

Just for your own peace of mind, you might want to pick up both the Nexxus Aloe Rid Shampoo and Treatment at a local salon and start using it every day until the test. It couldn't hurt. Good luck, but I really don't think you have anything to worry about.

You need to smoke atleast 3 times over the tested time period for there to be enough THC to test positive....you're straight

I don't want to steal from your topic worriedsmoker but I'm kind of in the same boat. I never really smoke but took about 5 or so hits on 3 seperate occasions on spring break. This was about 2 months ago and have been clean since. I work out often and am in decent shape. I have a hair test in a few days and just purchased the nexxus aloe rid shampoo and started to use it. Do you think my chances of passing are fairly possible or am I just dreaming.

Newcomer I had 25 years worth of drugs in my hair and passed after 35 days of cleanliness.

You'll be fine.

Aloe Rid, vinnegar, Clean and Clear, and Tide - do this 2 times before test.
