Hi there. Love this site -- a wealth of info. Quick question, I just got a Quest Diagnostic form for a pre-employment drug screening. I've seen them before where they say the name of the test (EMIT), but this one just has a bunch of numbers and letters. I was hoping someone could inform me if this is going to be a urine test (which I assume it will be) or a blood test (in which case i'd have some different preparations to do). Thanks!
The test name is: 7686N HRS 5 DRUG PANEL

Most likely, this would be a urine test, but you might want to check the quest website to see if you can find the 7686 code. Go to:

www.questdiagnostics.com

Select test menu and from there, select the regional lab where your test will be done. From there, enter the code in the search box. I tried to search for the code from the regional lab in my area, but it didn't come up.
