|  placenta question... I have a friend who is going through a bad divorce.....her placenta was "taken" by soon to be ex and he says he has had it tested for thc....this is all a vandetta because his prelim court ordered tests look worse than hers...she was clean for 4 months prior... she did smoke some while pg. Does anyone have any idea where I can get info on thc and how long it is present in the placenta? Obviously she is worried. Any info would be helpful....thanks much in advance  .zenmama |

|  eewww sounds like one sick SOB. Where did he keep it? Sounds like he may just be bluffing, I don't know anyone that would keep placenta.....except maybe Sylvester Stallone. |

| Lotta cells in the placenta. Especially the ones in my collection. She may be screwed, as well as being placenta-less. |

| yikes! I'll pass on the snacks... Just another little birthing anecdote, when I was pregnant with my first baby, my doctor asked me if I smoked. I said no. Meaning cigarettes, which I did not smoke. I smoked mj heavy (before I knew I was pregnant) and lightly once I found out and quit by the 4th month. When I gave birth, the doctor was checking out the placenta and looked at me and said, "I thought you said you didn't smoke?" |

| No, I should have, but I didn't ask. I was freaked out that he knew. I just know something in the placenta remained after 5 months of NOT smoking. |
