Thanks to all who posted their experiences! I found out I passed my hair test today after taking two trial tests at my own expense, but well worth the money. The first trial test came out positive after soaking in vinegar and using root clean by detoxify. The second trial test a few days later came out negative after coloring my hair once and then soaked in vinegar, washed with aloe rid, and then used the aloe rid treatment twice--once at night and then again in the AM before I took the test. I continued to do the same process once a day until I got my results back about 3 days later. I didn't use the clean and clear/tide method because the second trial test came back negative without doing that. I haven't been a heavy user for the past 90 days, but for the past 45 days used pretty much daily but in small amounts. I believe that the combination of hair color and the aloe rid shampoo and treatment worked for me. My advice is to follow the advice on this boards and take a trial test before going in blindly--it's worth the money!! Peace!

I have fine to medium hair--not coarse. My hair stylist used a natural dye -- no chemicals. I noticed that on my trial test results that they did check for hair dye and that was negative, so I think that the aloe root shampoo and treatment cleaned that up for me.

I have a quick ? how much did the trial test cost and what compan did u use
