I took a hair test on Friday afternoon...it has been about 60 days since I last smoked...before that it was a couple of days a week for the previous months...3 days before the test I was washing my hair twice a day with aloe rid shampoo and clarifying cleanser after working out and sitting in a sauna...the day of the test I did the whole vinegar tide thing and than an hour later used clear choice hair follicle shampoo...I also cut my hair about 3/4 to an inch long the day before the test...the doctor wanted to take the hair from somehwhere else because he said it was pretty short, but I talked him out of it...he commented that everyone comes in with such short hair...wonder why a**hole!...anyway from what I've read the test can only go back as long as your hair (approximately 90 days or 1/2 inch a month)....if my hair is only 1 inch long than can it only go back 60 days...I hope so..anyway haven't heard yet but will let everyone know...

um, yeah. I think you are ok. Did you at least protest the test at all? Intrusive bastards.

Yes, based on the length of the sample, they will be testing for usage over a period of about the last 45 - 60 days. Given the amount of time since you last smoked and the length of sample they took, I'd say you have a decent chance of passing. Let us know the results and good luck!

I didn't protest the test at all....A lot of my buddies told me to bail on it but Ive stayed away from pot for the past few months and I am curious to see what happens....blame all this drug testing on that pill addicted widow Nancy Reagan...funny no one asked me about any DWI's or anything about alcohol...oh yeah GW Bush and Cheney wouldn't have jobs if they did that..still no results of the test though

I passed that stupid, waste of corporate money, BS hair test!....thanks to everyone who helped give me information on how to beat it...it's ridiculous that I even had to go through what i just went through, but its over...I don't know what actually worked for me but listed above is my method...Im definitely scared to smoke again, but Im sure I'll overcome it!
