I have been preparing for a urine test and been clean since June 1st, only to find out today that I am offered the job and have to go in to take a hair test. I have smoked the last 3 years pretty much every single day and before that (3 years before that) pretty often as well just maybe not every single day. I have gotten to the point where I can pass a home urine test (under 50 ng/ml) on a normal day without even dilution.
Anyways, my hopefully soon to be new boss said on two occasions during our phone call that I should go and take the test (along with a physical) sooner rather than later regardless if I start on the 23rd or after labor day as the tests can take some time. Reading quickly through different forums I went out and bought the Nexxus Shampoo with the treatment, but am now reading about this McCujo process and I am willing to try anything. I have thin dark hair, a little passed my shoulders, and have had it highlighted real recently and really don't want to get it cut short. Not to mention the fact that it would look a little obvious. Should I start the Nexxus shampoo and treatments now and then worry about the McCujo thing the day of my test or do the McCujo thing a few times days before the test? The other issue that I have is that my scalp is real sensitive so I will freak if it does something to that and they can tell that I did something. Won't they be able to tell that there was vinegar in my hair along with the clean and clear chemicals? I think I can buy maybe until the end of next week or early the following week but that is probably it. Any advise would help!! Thanks ahead of time and I am so glad to see that they have this support out here. It really makes me angry that an employer would deny someone a job for smoking marijuana. Hasn't interfered with my work ethic or anything else in the past so I just don't understand!!
