Hey helpers, need some help. I am a heavy smoker (a bowl or j a night) i have a drug test in six days. I have very short hair, just shaved my head. Last time i smoked was 2 or 3 days ago, i picked up some detoxifying shampoo (detoxify, root clean). Any chance?

Just shaved your head? If your hair is too short, like a very close crew cut, they will most likely take the sample from some other place (armpits, shave legs, maybe even pubes)

They're trying to test for usage over a 90 day period, meaning they want a sample of about 1 and 1/2 inches in length (90 days worth of growth)

The shampoos and other preparation methods won't hurt, but they don't gaurantee that you'll pass either. Just do as much preparation as possible, and hope for the best. Good luck!

gotta agree with RSX on this one; a chronic smoker will have big problems with a hair test after that short of a time being clean. In addition, shaving your head never helps since there is hair everywhere on your body.

Thanks for the info, and the support! I am also trying the macujo method on ALL of my remaining hair. I will keep you updated. Do you think if i pushed back the date of the test a week it would help?

ok guys and girls, 1/2 hour until test time, wish me luck! I will post my results as soon as i get them. like i said, i used the macujo method and some root clean. I'll keep you posted!
