well i just found out i have a hair and urine test for a great job coming up on friday 8/13. i've smoked maybe 2-3 times a month for the past few years, but recently i smoked a bowl on 6/28 and half a j on 7/13, thats it in the past three months. im curious as to if i have a chnce because i have considered reapplying in a couple of months. i have done all the treatments talked about here and i have bought some root clean shampoo to use the day of the test. i'm really not to worried about the urine, im thin with a fast metabolism.

well the test is tommorow, so far i have bleached and re-dyed my hair twice, done the mccujo method about 5 times and washed with aloe rid for 5 days. i will also use some detox shampoo tommorow morning. hope it all works, all i can do now is pray.

Try not to stress too much. I think you've got an excellent chance of passing.

The hair test is great at nailing people who smoke on a regular basis (every day or at least 3 or 4 times a week) It's not as good at catching people who smoke infrequently or no more than 2 or 3 times a month. The labs who do these tests have admitted this themselves.

Also, I've seen success stories from people who smoked quite a bit more than you who bleached their hair and passed the test. Apparently, bleaching hair is one of the most effective things someone can do to improve their odds of passing. Of course, not everyone is willing to bleach and dye their hair, just like not everyone is willing to cut their hair short.

Use the MacCuj0 Method RIGHT before you go in for the test... the closer to the time of the test, the better... and then you should pass with flying colors.

my hair is about 2 inches on top and 1 1/2 in the back, do you think i should get a haircut today before the test just in case

well, i took the test. i really should have gotten a haircut, because she didn't even cut close to my scalp. she took hair from 4 different places and sid it would be sent to california. but, i got a paper with information on it that said it would be sent to nebraska. does anyone know which companies are in these states.----sorry, my shift button does not work, can't use capitals or question marks.----- also, does the 3-5 day turn around include weekends. i'd like to give my current job 2 weeks notice so i would have to let them know on 8/23, and i am curious if that is enough time to get my results back.

well, i have another question, i heard today from a friend that the lab can tell if you bleach and dye your hair or strip it before the test. has anyone else heard this or has any other input, now im stressing about this and think i should have not bleached my hair. can't i just say sometimes i bleach my hair. is it really any of their buisness.

I've never heard of any lab claiming this. Like I said above, plenty of people have bleached their hair and PASSED with no questions from the lab. If your results are different, please let us know.

considering they wash the follicle prior to testing it, the use of adulterans with respect to hair testing is much different than urine which is not cleaned prior to testing. The hair follicle, being clean, will remove contaminants such as this; also, people bleach their hair all the time to color it, so there is nothing illegal about the use of it in the hair anyways
