well after my last post i came up with a plan based on everyone's advice. as a very infrequent user i hope that plays in my favor. here is what i've done and my test should be tomorrow or tuesday at the latest....
female, medium length hair, medium in terms of thickness, 130lbs, farely active, fast metabolism
2 week plan:
-hair cut (cut off about 4 inches of my hair so it's above my shoulders)
-started using aloe rid shampoo daily (i read that this does nothing but figured i'd throw it on there)
-took biotin once a day - daily supplement that helps hair and nails grow (can't say that my hair has grown much but seems to have done a decent job)
-mac method - started it yesterday, twice a day and will follow it up tonight and tomorrow morning with toxin wash (tomorrow morning is likely day of, not 100% sure)
-if tomorrow isn't the day then i have zydot on hand to do the day of with mac method
i have no idea if any of this will work but again i'm hoping that the infrequency of use will play in my favor. thanks to everyone for sharing their stories. i know the mac method doesn't seem to be as effective as jerry g's but i think for my situation it should work. fingers crossed. i'll be back to share the news......

Thank you all so much I passed took 6 weeks to find out but I passed!!!!!!!!!Thank you all so much these posts are such a blessing for people that are not hurting anyone just smokin some herb....Bless you all for helping

Passed at a non name brand lab. Daily light user year round except for a few weeks every so often. Last use was July 19, except for the day I cleaned out all the resin I could scrape up and smoked that on August 8. Test was September 15 and 19th (I had to go back because lab did not take enough hair the first time).

As soon as I heard it was hair, goodbye ALL body hair. Then had wife cut it down on my head to 3/4 inch, based on info here on time till deposit, growth rate of hair, and concentrations detected.

Everyday for two weeks used every product mentioned on this board, except bleach and redye. My reasoning was my clean time, length of hair, and that I have light brown/blonde hair, with some gray.

I found two products with Propylene Glycol that I have not seen mentioned and I wanted to share them.

One is Frizz-Ease from the John Frieda Collection. It also says Secret Weapon Flawless Finishing Creme. Found it at Wal-Mart. PG is second ingredient after water.

The other one is NO Rinse Shampoo from CleanLife Products. Found it at CVS. PG is third ingredient behind water and triethanolamine lauryl sulfate. The bottle says NASA uses it!

Thanks to everyone who took the time to post, I certainly would not have been as well prepared.

The wait is finally over. I passed. I may have used some extreme methods, but I didn't have to bleach/redye, so my hair still looks basically the same. Here's what I did:

I followed JerryG's process nearly to the letter. I only had 5 days to prepare, and maybe 7-8 days clean. I have been a moderate smoker, 2-4 times per week (2-3 tokes at a time), for a long time. I am dark blonde, but my head is shaved, so it came from my armpits. I have a slow metabolism, and I am 6 foot 220.
I mixed powdered bleach with a 40 developer and left it on for 1/2 hour at a time. Used a light brown dye with an ammonia base mixed with a 20 developer for the re-dye. I washed it out each time with a clarifying shampoo (a generic version of aloe rid with propylene glycol), then used a baking soda/water paste. Did this process three times, then used Zydot at 8am the day of the test. Took the test at 4pm. It has been 2 weeks and there were a couple people that failed (took it at same time as me) and they got their news a week ago, I figure I am safe at this point.

Here's my stats so I don't have to redo it. My test was on a Thursday.
Here's what I did. Started Mac method (using PM3)that Monday before the test. Instead of doing just the clean and clear after the vinegar. I mixed it with baking soda (IDK if it helped it work better or not but hey its worth a shot). I only did it one time. After that I didn't do anything until that Thursday morning besides not smoke (I had just smoked the weekend prior to the Mac Monday). That morning I purchased 2 dark and lovely children's relaxers (my hair is thick and long so I need at least 1 1/2). Contained inside they have a pre-relaxer cream you put in your hair to help so it won't over process. I DID NOT USE IT. I figure more damage the better. After doing the relaxer (remember u need to put a relaxer on dirty hair) by the instructions minus the pre-treatment and I did leave it on a little longer (always did when I use to use them). I did use the shampoo that comes with it after rinsing out the relaxer. Then after rinsing that shampoo out I used the PM3 and washed my hair again. By then my hair felt like crap. So I put in a conditioner. With that in I went and picked up my papers for my Hair DT (u cant tell it was in there). Came back home. Washed the conditioner out and then used the Omni cleansing shampoo I got from the local shop. I bought two again because of my hair length. This stuff is super thick. So in the shower I put half in and let it sit for about 10 or 15 min. Washed it out. Then I out in the rest. While that was sitting I shaved under my arms and my legs and washed off. I figure that took another 15 at least. Once I washed that out I noticed There was a little left in each bottle so I did it one more time for good measure. That was a quick wash and rinse by this time. I didn't put anything in my hair. The package said not to dry my hair, so I said what the hey be safe and don't put anything in it. She cut about a inch wide strip approx 250 hairs in the back middle right area of my head. I know it went to Quest (IDK if I spelled it how they do) and that they shipped it out FedEx. I figure they got it the next day at the latest and I found out the following Friday that I passed.

I did decided to do the perm (relaxer) even though I had not put any chemicals in my hair in years. I believe the relaxer did really help.

We had 11 days to prepare for the hair test. We originally went with the idavisa method, using the Mac method as well. After looking on these forums, we found Jerry G's method. Upon reading his method, and the reasoning behind it, we went full ahead with those treatments the last 6 days. End result, Another passed test! It's my honest opinion that if you listen to the people trying to help you, and stay diciplined in your approach, you can beat this thing! My wife has very long hair, that is very thick, and she still passed. This has been a nightmare, but I can say the support on here kept us upbeat, and optimistic.
I want to send mad respect to Jerry G for all the help. GREENFOODGAMES we made it too!!! Thank you so much for the support! People it can be done! Do not see it as the end, just a trying time you can overcome. Again, thanks to everyone. We will be posting what we used daily, but I am convinced Jerry G's was what did it! We also said allot of prayers, as I'm sure that can't hurt!
