here's a summary of my info:

i have LONG dark brown hair.
within the 3 mo period, i smoked about 6-8 different times. not a lot thought. like never a full blunt. just a couple bong hits at a time.

did the mac method during the last week of sept. vinegar, clean && clear, washed with tide, then washed with t/sal.
fyi, i lost A LOT of hair lol. like handfuls yuck! lol!

then i got my tragus && industrial pierced on oct 4. so i quit all the methods trying to avoid infection.
finally had my hair test oct 27.
i used zydot the day of the test.
they took hair from the right, left, && middle of my crown. not from my neck!

so all in all i only did one week of the mac method && washed with zydot.
&& i PASSEDDDD!!!


&& now im going to smokee a FATTYYY!!!

I wish i could post advice but I guess i'm actually looking for some. I took a hair test on 11/6/09 which tested positive for marijuana yet I take a medication that contain Amphetamines twice a day and have taken it for the last 5 yrs. Sooooooo can anyone tell me why the Amphetamines came back negative and why i tested positive for weed when i haven't smoked since August 2008. I did contest the results and since then paid out of pocket for my own hair test and was sent by the potential company for another yesterday. I'm still waiting on both results. Does anyone have any advice for a very confused individual????? Any advice would be great.

I feel your pain man. I took a hair test for a new job and it came back pos for cocaine and negative for everything else. I smoked weed everyday for 30 years up to the day of the test, smoked meth everyday for 2 years up to 12 hours before the test and hadn't done coke for over a year, not one sniff. Go figure. the only thing I could think of was an antbiotic that was prescribed by my doctor caused a false pos for the coke. But why didn't their damn test pick up the weed or meth?? Needless to say I didn't get the job.

I used the macujo method 2 years ago when i first got this job and i passed my drug test by doing the method twice a day for 5 days prior to the test. Worked for a year and a half then got laid off for more than six months ...when i got called back 2 weeks ago i followed the method once again 2 the letter and failed ...this method is not full proof in now way what so ever ... So now to get my job back i have to do councling and pass another test when i tell them i can. If i fail again there will be no way i could get my job back so i must abstain from my love THC ..I know people that work there that are drunks and beat there wife and children but there much safer than the weekend smoker i guess. Sorry for the bad news guys ...but i was very confident i was gonna pass and that might have been my stupidty.

First of all i'd like to thank everyone on this forum who have contributed information.

My experience:

Prior drug use: I have pretty much been exclusive to weed, about a blunt a day for the past year (estimate) i've used pain killers, but that's about it and only a couple times. I hadn't smoked about a month prior to the test.

Body: I'm 5'11, about 190 pounds, pretty slow metabolism, i have dark brown thick straight hair.

Cleansing method: I had about 2 days to prepare for my test. I bought the toxin wash using overnight shipping. I began the first day with two bleaches and re-dyes. The first bleach and re-dye i didn't use the toxin wash. The second bleach and re-dye i used toxin wash after the bleach, and then again after the re-dye. The day of the test i did my third bleach and re-dye using the toxin wash again.

I passed my test, and got the job i wanted.

Some FYI if you have a sensitive scalp, this method will kill your scalp. I have chunks of skin coming off my head. Also, i would suggest not doing a on the scalp bleach every time, start it about a 1/4 in away from the scalp the first couple times, then do a on the scalp the last time.
